ithika: (nevermore - me)
[personal profile] ithika
Well, today was interesting. Went many places in Perth, [being with [livejournal.com profile] marmot_pie and [livejournal.com profile] uruserce], and partook of many a squee-ish moment.
So, the long and short of it is, I now have, on order, a 12 inch tall motion activated Captain Jack Sparrow figure thingeh [with sound]. Ohmygod.
Muahahahahahaaahaaaah.
Ahem.
And, in that selfsame store, I/we found something that's probably the most amusing thing since... I'd have to say, inflatable photoframes. Which are pretty funny. A FIGWIT collectable autographed card. Yes. There was Pippin, Elrond, Galadriel, Theoden, Eomer and Figwit. It said Figwit, too, and I kid you not. I would have bought it had it not been $50.
Also, that store had a Gollum plushie. I am so getting one. It's rather hideous, but so cuddly! And bitey, and not velly pretty, but, oh, the hillarity. Dunno how much it is. But yeah, I'm so buying Aragorn's ranger sword. It's so mine. And the scabbard, too.
Ooh, I need money indefinately.
So badly.
Because I also want the boxed set of Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. [$85 - oh, come on, marked down from $106!!] And the boxed set of Neon Genesis Evangalion. Guh. And the boxed set of Stargate: SG1, season 1. And Edward Scissorhands. And the El Mariachi/Desperado dvd. And Soul CaliburII [$69] and NWN: Hordes of the Underdark [$50], and at least one Hellsing DVD, if not the boxed set.
And that's only what I can remember up-front.

But it was a good day. *nods*

At work, ROTK is asserting itself - there's an insert in the coming soon section, for anyone who cares. It made me happy, anyway.

AH! MY ROOM IS EMPTY!
*sigh* being forced to clean it. In encouragement, everything has been taken out.
This includes my bed.
Yes, that's right.
And all my LOTR stuff. *frets* I don't like it being moved around, if something happened to any of them... AH!
At least I know that Smeagol is safe. *croons to statue.. still in box*
I gave up on trying to wrest it from the box. I figure, this way, it's safer, it has a backdrop, and I won't risk damaging the pretty, pretty box.
What? What are you looking at me like that for? Have you seen this box?

And I finally got the POTC soundtrack! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

But anyway,... *sighs*
Yes. That was my day.

Ecastor.
Well, I'll tell my dad later today (hehe = 'today' = endless source of amusement = not usually up this early)that Bill's been hoarding 'em all to himself. Or he's technologically inept.
You don't mind me mocking your father for the sake of watching my dad throwing a fake spat for amusement's sake, do you?

..hm, well, I don't know...
*shrugs* why not. But, I didn't give you permission...
and he's not actually technologically inept - unless he put the password on unintentionally. which would be bad

Quite impressive

I doubt, however, that your action figure compares that well to the 12" Qui-Gon Jinn. The soundtrack soundas interesting - I might attempt to steal some thereof.

The soundtrack's my favourite soundtrack of all time. *nods* I listen to it indefinately, in fact.

Bah, it's Captain Jack Sparrow. Savvy?

Savant -(just another 2,500 manifestations of sagacity and I can change class to Sage.). No Force Push action, though.

I think a light sabre would certainly outclass a mundane one.
