Ghanorama, originally uploaded by Ghan the llama.

I made this because I'm lame and also was impressed by my shirley-temple-esque locks.

I could make some comment about how messy hair down is traditionally linked to prostitution or slutiness, partially because of the connotation of primality as opposed to civilisation, but you'd probably not like me saying that.

But other than that I don't think that I can/should say anything about how you look. That your hair looks nice goes without saying.

:O
Well, perhaps not. But it's okay, my hair wasn't really truly messy, since it was a controlled mess, if you understand my meaning.

Thankyou!
also, what's your icon a part of? Is it the Birth of Venus by... Botticelli?

I could have made more complimentary statements, but then I would have felt slightly sleezy, and I don't like to compliment people in ways that I'm not 100% certain that they will take in the right way. Though, on the other hand, it somewhat frustrates me that so many nice-looking girls don't realise that they look nice. But you don't seem to think that you are ugly, so there is no real need for me to say anything.

http://artyzm.com/e_obraz.php?id=390 It annoys me that I cannot find a single picture on the internets that does that painting proper justice.

I recognise that painting! It is quite lovely. What's wrong with this image - is it too dark? Or do you feel that something about the painting is simply lost?

Also, don't worry. I try to avoid taking things the wrong way, and that would be helped by not thinking you particularly likely to say something unfriendly. :P But thanks. :)

P.S The lady in the painting reminds me of Amber for some reason. Do you see the resemblance? I think it's only in the eyes. Interesting.

Well yes. In fact when I was first befriending Amber, I showed her the painting and compared her to it.

Well this is the best image that I can find on the internet, at least it doesn't have a reflection from flash ruining half the picture. It is about 95% as good as the one in our D'Orsay handbook thing. I'm rather annoyed that when we were at the Musee D'Orsay I completely missed it.
