Well, since I've been tagged by both louisthefly and marmot_pie (in order of tagging, unless my friends page has gone crazy again, which I wouldn't put past it), and you "MUST", here is...

"Once you are tagged you MUST write a blog entry about your 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you needto choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names."

1. When talking on the phone, if there is a pause, I will say "yes", "um" or "hm" randomly, and at the beginnings and ends of sentences. For no reason. It's actually fairly unconscious. I find this hilarious. Once I realise I'm doing it, it becomes even worse.

2. I think out little sidestories to life in my head when I'm alone. I imagine the characters interacting with me and other people, and that sort of thing. It's not unusual for these daydreams to involve dragons, or being a dragon. They can become quite involving and I think have lead some people to think I'm a little dense. Which is fine.

3. I love getting new clothes. Adore it. I think this is possibly because whenever I go shopping looking for clothes, I go in with all these expectations and hopes, and come out feeling depressed and bitter that there was nothing/very little that I liked. And I'm not even that picky, I just like wearing clothes that are worth the effort (that is, ones that actually cover you up), and there are worryingly few around. However, the small wardrobe I do have is one of which I am immensely fond.

4. Stationary delights me, as do booklists. I try to find excuses to get most things on booklists, and new, interesting stationary is one of the biggest traps for my money.

5. One of my greatest wants is to be able to go hiking again, through nature with no contact with technology, with only food, water, tents and my favourite person. Of course there'd also need to be the needed safety stuff, which is a little unfortunate, but I'd like to get as close to no technology as I can for a while, and do fun, nature-ey kind of stuff in the Australian wilderness. I love the word wilderness.

6. I tend to be very excitable and, although nowhere near to the extent of years gone past, I obsess over things a little. It's not harmful, but it is odd. They're odd things, too. Like Tall Ships. I adore them. You could say I'm quite obsessed with those.

I think I shoud do this meme again sometime, when I can actually think of habits, rather than not answering the "question" at all. :P

You know what I was hit with a longing for thismorning? (Edit: Days ago)
The Lord of the Rings.
I miss it so much! So, I'm totally re-reading everything, starting with the Silmarillion, then The Hobbit, then LotRs, then Unfinished Tales, then, since I lack.. the Lost Tales? (I only saw the complete collection together once, it was glorious... it was also $400, which is the only reason I don't have it. A pity, it would have matched my main copies of The Hobbit and LotRs (hardback, cloth-bound, illustrated by Alan Lee), I'll read my movie fan-stuff. (Which is extensive). And then I might read them all again.
