Well, I do.
I've just finished my introduction to the essay, and finally everything has fallen into place. I know exactly what I must write, and I know how to do it. I'm so happy.
However, I've decided to take a bit of artistic license with the question, which is:
"Was there a distinctive style of women’s mysticism, as opposed to men’s, in Europe in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries?
Discuss with reference to any two of the following: St. Catherine of Siena; Margery Kempe; Richard Rolle; Henry Suso
"

See, I couldn't find a lot of significant differences between Men and Women's mysticism as far as practise goes - because it was such a personal thing, it'd be hard to say that there was similarity between two people's practises in any case. I know that thought didn't make any sense, but I'm not writing an essay right now, just a lj entry.
So instead, I'm bringing light to the fact that the major difference between male and female mystics was the, shall we say, social perks that being a mystic brought about. That is, a female mystic could find herself in the public spotlight, in a position of power, and a power of her own. Of course, she could also find herself burnt at the stake, but that's not the point I'm making here.

So I'm off.

Also! In 48 minutes Gavin and I will have been together for 9 months! Joy!

You count the minutes?

That's cute!

Oh. And I second the comment about Beethoven's 5th!!

Hmmm. I am unsure as to whether I have ever comented on anything of yours! Most strange.

*nods* Sometimes... hehe.

Hurrah for Beethoven's 5th!

Oooh. It could be a mystical first! I wouldn't be surprised actually. Have I commented on anything of yours?

Dunno. Perhaps not.

Oh well. There's always a first!
