Of steamworks and magick obscura

ithikaToday, I was awoken most pleasantly - pankakes! In bed! The joy, the indescribable, sugary joy.
But first - I had this weird dream last night.
I was Sands [yep, that's right OUATIM, no promptin or nothing... wooo], and I was on a plane. I was sitting next to this kid, and had a discussion along the lines of who I was and why I had no eyes. I was being really sarcastic and spiteful, and the kid was still all happy and stuff.
Thought I'd share.
Anyway, yesterday was good too, work went pretty quickly and there were no dodgy/doomy customers, and stuff.
Gavin's friend's party was nice... cool people and stuffs. *nods* His friend Leigh, who was also at the BDO, is a very funny guy. All of his friends are nice, *nods* had a conversation with a guy named Felix about the difference between his "Chinese Rage" and "Chinese Fury" [Apparantly, "Chinese Rage" is less terrifying because it's controlled, whereas "Chinese Fury" is uncontrollable]... apparantly, Felix also has automatic powers in all martial arts, from birth, hehe. It was a funny conversation. Also had a long discussion with Gavin and Leigh and Amy [who's Birthday-Partai it was] about why there were only the clear gummy dinosaurs left in the bowl, and what we were going to do to the person that ate all the other colours, leaving only the clear ones in the bowl (it involved the reposession of coloured dinosaurs via disembowelment, if you were curious) and I revealed my keen gummy-lolly-knowledge-powers-of-doom by declaring that they were the "Natural" brand, and I was right! Hurrah!
And a few other conversations, one of which involved a combination of that party-meat-stuff [you know, the delicious something], cheese, dip and bbq chips... which supposedly is the best taste ever. Or something. It was good, but hardly "the best taste ever"... another involved Gavin blocking my ears as his friends tried to tell me stories of his past.. hehe. I don't actually remember what it was... but I did hear the story... haha.
Aaand today, we [Gavin and I] decided to have Valentine's day today, rather than tomorrow, because Gavin doesn't have Uni today, but he does tomorrow... it makes a great deal of sense, you know.
He gave me a rose and this gorgeous fluffy dog-plushie toy... which is now called Rupert II. [Gavin did try to find a llama.. but didn't...aww...]... nyawwww.
Shush! I am entitled to gushing! So! NER! [As it is Valentines day. At least for me :p] I gave Gavin this bear thing [which is now actually a panther in disguise] which got named "Hmm?"... and I drew him a tiger-face, and coloured it and everything. Took me aaaages. Twas too big to scan. I was going to take a photo of it due to my proudness-of-how-it-looked but I didn't..
We were going to go to the Zoo, but due to neither of us being morning people... we didn't get to the Zoo until 3... where we were informed by the ticket-lady that the Zoo closes at 5. Not, as we had thought, 9 [due to it being summer and all]. So! No Zoo for us. Aww.
So we walked down to the South Perth river foreshore, where there was this "smarter than smoking" festival thingo happening, with live music, dragon-boat races, and stuff. It was interesting.
Buut Gavin was feeling reeally sick [as opposed to just being sick] so we went home early because I wants him to get better *nods*. aww, poor Gavin. I hope he gets well soon, because being sick is no good at all.
What else? Oh, yes... I've decided to get addicted to Neopets again. Shame on me, shame on me, I know.
