Apr. 23rd, 2007 11:13 pmI was going to write "Toughen the fuck up", because this photo amused me to no end, but I thought that maybe people might think I was preparing to rip into someone if I wrote that, and also that it would be "out of character" for me to swear in the subject line. :P (I has a character)
So anyway, life or whatever.
Um. I'm pretty good, yeah. Pretty happy now that I has my new desk. Pretty happy that Rene seems to think that my design idea is great (in fact, I'm the only one in the studio allowed to have curved walls! Woot. -- This is, btw, because of sustainability issues associated with the labour costs of round walls, but of course as with seemingly all rules within ALVA if you can justify breaking it you're totally allowed. This may even extend to IRL rules like don't kill people, but I haven't tested it out yet. I do have a test subject in mind, though. So we'll see, hay.), which makes me happy. I can totally deal with reworking my plan over and over again when my teach likes my idea, it's a whole 'nother kettle of fishies when they tell you to rework it constantly because they think it's shite. I've been swearing more this week. I think I have finally succumbed to the ALVA lingo. Although I have always found profanity funny (as I have discussed with James in a not too long ago comment thing). Just so long as I don't let it get to a ridiculous stage I should be ok.
So I'm in this interesting state of feeling ridiculously (and I do mean ridiculously) overworked, but also mostly feeling happy being so. That is, when I'm not trying to get up in the mornings. I'm sorry I haven't been able to be much of a social butterfly of late, but you know, busy and all that. :(
