Ithika, swashbuckling rogue of neutral evil

Yeah, so I -unsucsessfully- started a new game on NWN today, for my Vampire Rogue. I've decided that roleplaying her would be a good, easy way to develop her character (I=cheat). Of course, she's not a vampire in NWN, and she's not an Assassin, because I'm not playing SOU. But yes. Neutral evil, I decided, was the only way to go. *nods*

In other news, I saw King Arthur, ooh, I loffed it. *dances*

Yeah... haven't updated lately because I've had nothing to say, really. Bah!
Started colouring some sketches, but, no-where near finito, m'dears. Ahahahah.

Oh, there was some interesting incident at work on friday. The moral to the story is - never, ever play unlabeled VCDs you find in DVD cases, ever. Just don't do it, alright? Trust me on this.

And.. that is all.
Boring, I know.

It is a good movie isn't it?
It wasn't too long, either.
Poor Launcelot. *sigh*

*nods*
*sniff* and that other one. you know the one. *sob*

[identity profile] uno-marsch.livejournal.com 2004-07-26 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I think my fave character was...
Oh, I can't remember his name, but he reminded me of Merry

[identity profile] uno-marsch.livejournal.com 2004-07-26 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
I'm going to be awake all night trying to remember that name now.
*smacks head*
I liked the guy with all the kids as well.
He was a fave as well.

[identity profile] bloodied-aura.livejournal.com 2004-07-26 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
Hehe, he was funny!
Do you mean hawk man or saving kid man? with axe? for merry guy...

... :D but you know you loff me anyway

Swashbuckling is a chaotic trait.

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-19 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Could you define swashbuckling?

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-19 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
What does that represent or signify?

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
So Swashbuckling is roughly equivalent to "carefree and aspects or characteristics", is it?

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps some fixing up of the grammar is required.

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Or indeed its being rendered less nonsensical is required. In any case, enough of my pedantry. What do you mean by "carefree"? Possibly "Free from cares"? In that case, to what sort of cares do you refer? How would you consider one carefree? And how do we accept your definition of swashbuckling?

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Ok, I'll be a little more serious.
Care free, free of cares if you will, I picture that as meaning that the character is unattached to family/friends/commitments to an extent and lives life primarily for themselves without permanent or semi-permanent reliances on specific externalities (Beyond the obvious).

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
I'd argue that these characteristics are more incined towards Evil, since a Lawful character can be unattached and independent if the principles require it.

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think they'd be Evilly inclined, a Good character could have no attachments except moral ones, and they could be internal.

Being 'swashbuckling' doesn't definitively make you Chaotic, but it's a strong component.

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
I'd still argue that "so could a Lawful character", so swashbuckling is perhaps independent of Alignment.

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
I'd say it'd be independent, but with a Chaotic bent.

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you are better acquainted with these things than I, so I shall bow out.

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-21 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Certainly. I'll give you a rematch sometime.

When I'm out of Wales, then.

That was deleted on account of incompetent spelling.

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-21 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
Agreed.

I noticed.

4.5/0.5

[identity profile] bloodied-aura.livejournal.com 2004-07-19 09:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'm aware of that. But, I don't care... so, uh, ner.
ahaha, I am mature

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-19 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Ok, I might just change your alignment mid-game or something. Aha, or make whatever character you play with Danica irredeemably Evil.

[identity profile] bloodied-aura.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
you can't change my alignment, 'snot in your power [I hope].

I would say a vampire would probably be irredeemably evil, wouldn't you?

[identity profile] tattered-pinion.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes it is, and yes it is.
Everything is in the DM's power, no exceptions. I can change your characters name, class, race, history, nose size, what ever the hell I like.

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-20 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
Ahaha.

[identity profile] volandum.livejournal.com 2004-07-19 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
What did the incident comprise?
