ithika: (should hold us over - by indilime)

Ah, freedom. I was going to say "the sun is rising", but I'm not overpartial to the sun, so it doesn't really sum up my general feelings.

Blessed freedom comes close though.
I have so finished all my exams now... and simultaneously ran out of time to write about my week. Damn.
But, before I forget - cool people came into work, rented El Mariachi/Desperado, and I said "Rodriguez fan, or just a fan of El?" and they didn't look at me like I was crazy, they knew who Rodriguez is. And they were fans of El! Whee!
Talked with them and stuff, ah, it's so good to find random fans.

And now... adeiu. [but not forever]

(never say never *laughs*)
You should never believe that because then you can become rather dependant on one person, not only making them responcible for you but making yourself weak.

If you can laugh at the world you can forget and forgive it for being unkind.
You also have more fun.

First bit sounds better in German, I believe.

If you can laugh at the world you can forget and forgive it for being unkind.

Only because were you not to forgive it you would be hypocritical in assuming that the world would forgive you.

Surely the specialised nature of our society is based upon the principle of dependancy upon specialists?

We shouldnt. I hope that if I were chucked out in the bush I could live one my own with no need of specialists.

We shouldnt.

How would you have it? With massive inefficiency and limited technology (limited to sticks, most probably) due to complete generalisation?

Why wouldn't that be bad?

What's wrong with using Meghan's journal?

She'll end up with a thousand emails telling her of what we're saying, it would just be nice to keep out of her journal. I dont think she really wants to here us rambling away.

Whether she chooses to be notified or not is her choice - and coping with the results of that choice is her responsibility. She herself says that she does not object.

Now... what were you saying?

She has notified us. Please move to my journal, randomly select a entry and reply.

If you don't mind my saying, the 4kb of a notification email is hardly likely to fill up your inbox. It would take possibly 200 posts to take up a single megabyte.
