Or maybe they are.
I had a truly bizarre dream last night, and it follows as such.
I was crawling through a dark, stone tunnel, which ended up leading to a very ellaborate crypt - lots of stone carvings, intricate trimming. I was following what I assumed was someone, but ended up being a something - a zombie, to be precise. I reached the end of the tunnel, and swung down into the finely carved crypt, which was filled with Zombies. Not gooey fleshy zombies, but, bone and drumskin sort of corpse zombies. For those of you that have played Ocarina of Time, think Re-dead, then apply human-ish features. Or, think of Egyptian mummies. Like Nefertiti's mummy. That sort of look, but with more hair, clothing, and with eyes. Slightly more flesh, too, just muscle. So, yeah. I wasn't too phased by this, I was kinda expecting it, I think. But I fell down, and was held down by some of the Zombies. One of the ones near to me was a girl, whom was two ages at once - young, about 8, and about my general age at the same time. She watched me with sympathetic eyes.
The Zombie that had been leading me talked to me, in a strong, worryingly authorative voice. I don't remember what she said now, but I remember appologising and agreeing alot.
There's a gap in between, but I remember escaping the crypt through a hole in the floor, perhaps with the aid of the sympathetically-eyed zombie girl.
The next scene was in a huge and elaborate house, with a lot of dark wood - floorboards, wall panneling, furniture, and a big stone fireplace. Victorian era themed furniture. Nice, very nice. A mansion, or maybe a small castle. Apparantly, this was the world of the dead, and I was there because it was the only way to get away from the Zombies. I wasn't dead, though. There was a family living there, one of the members of the family was a girl my age, or maybe younger. The mother really didn't like me, and tried to trick me into getting trapped there.
The girl really wanted to get me out of that place, and mulled over the possibilities alot.
I had a bag with me, I handbag, and in it was a wooden comb, from my aunt [not one of my real aunts], and apparantly it could be used to get me back to the land of the living. But the girl was very, very concerned about what would happen if her mother found out about it.
Then she saw the girl with it, and asked her what it was for. She refused to answer, and the mother took it away.
And that's all I remember.
I really wish I remembered more, it was a cool dream, not scary in the conventional nightmare sense, though that's probably what it was. A bit of a psychological thriller courtesy of 'Ghan's subconcious mind.
In other news away from the land of dreams, I bought a new wallet. It's nice, black, has a fair bit of room and is by that Equip brand. Significant because I, long ago bought a bag by that same brand, a bag that is still in perfect working order. So, I have faith in them. Only $9, too, and I bought a thingy of plastic card holding things to go in it.
*pouts* There was a wallet with a puppy on it, but, damnitall, it was small. As impractical as I am, even I cannot justify spending $15 on something I know will be useless to me. [I hoard. junk. in my wallet.]
Also bought Matrix : Revolutions. Definately better than Reloaded, though lack of Twins and more Frenchman is still dissapointing. And I don't feel they made the most of the new-Oracle situation that sadly arose.
But yeah. A good movie. It's not likely to be solely mine for very long, though, as Matrix is a family obsession. Poo.
Work sucked today. Boring as all hell, although Sci-fi series man came in, he left early. Sci-fi series man is one of my favourite customers, very interesting to talk to.
Mehh. Most people bore me, though. *sigh*
Oh, and lots of Nirvana was played today. My, isn't that a coincidence.
No Black Betty, though. GUH. Must listen, or head will explode. Any version. Don't care. It annoys me that whatever band covered it most recently are acting like they wrote it, though. Contemptcontempt.
And that would be my update for the day, I think. Hmm... yes, probably. Ooh, and this just in : feelings of dread about tomorrow/monday. Gulp.
