Also, I've, shamefully, forgotten how to spell 'is name, and I, rather than spelling it wrong, have opted for the option of using the alias I know I can spell and will be recognised by anyone that... recognizes. Ahaha.
"But... you said we would be forgiven!"
"And indeed you may! But that's between you and God"
Jason Isaacs really was rather good in that movie. I think he makes the perfect 'baddie' in that movie, although, everything being in perspective, we should really consider the redcoats to be no more in the wrong than the rebels, even if they were a little mean.
hmm, yet another movie I'll have to own.
oh! And I've discovered another Video Ezy identity, my Western Bushwhaking Man. Oh yeah, this one's a character.
He's a tall, manly-stubble flanellette checkered shirt with sleves rolled up to the elbows guy, with a kinda... not a bob haircut but that length, sand coloured hair capped with an akoubra hat. Hell, he even has a gap between his front teeth. Watches Western movies, speaks in Aussie slang, told me he was going bush tomorrow, and couldn't find the out of hours return slot. Hehee. Seems nice though. Wears boots, and a belt with a ridiculous buckle. And jeans.
Have I found the Quintessential Aussie guy? No, no, just the stereotypical one. He belongs in a Judith Wright poem, I swear.
And, for the 8 hours I was there, I did not go 5 minutes without hearing "Pirates of the Caribbean" being said in a wide array of tones. Only one person said that they'd seen it and didn't want to get it out, though, which is good. I was filled with an irattional fandom wrath then, too, so it's good I had misjudged my ability to carry DVD's and was preocupied with ballancing them at that point. Hehe.
And the thing that made today a leeetle sucky, was that I was sick. Yeah. Worryingly so. Like, feverish. And swoony. I've been sick alot, and, I think I can confidently say that that's the worst kind. Verging on violent hallucinations. I'm not sure how to describe it other than that. When it feels like everything around you is moving, kind of like.. once again, I've no idea if it happens to anyone else, but if I spend a day at the ocean, in the ocean, when I try to go to sleep at night, lying still, I feel like I'm still moving with the sea, very strange. But it's always happened. Yeah.
Burning-up, feverish delirium. And at work, too.
Deepest appologies to... erm, used to be
evil_fish but now is.. someone else who's username I've forgotten, I'm still getting you a present, though. *pouts* I don't like not going to parties.
Well, that's the today today for today...savvy?
Oh, I couldn't help it. It satisfys two of my most all consuming fandom needs!

groggy
Date: 2004-03-20 11:49 pm (UTC)Yeah, that is a kinda... icky feeling I agree. You don't want to look at anything cause it makes you feel bad but if you close your eyes you get some kind of irrational fear and feel worse...
I've been feeling slightly... faded. Dunno how else to say it. Must be Pirates, you know how you read a book and the world seems deull in comparison? Yeah. I think Pirates has done that to me, only instead of lasting a few hours it has lasted weeks. Wait, then it wasn't entirely pirates, it was OUATIM too. *sigh* Lotr!
Re: groggy
Date: 2004-03-21 12:10 am (UTC)Yeah. I get that feeling too. And, yeah, it's happening again. I figure that's the reason I obsess over things - the less attention I pay to "reality" the less bad that feeling is. *nods*
Whee! LOTR!

I obssess to keep myself from being bored, which leads to thinking which is never very pretty.

Date: 2004-03-21 12:57 am (UTC)Coke and anything is nice. Hell, coke and dirt is nice!
Erm... not that I've tried that, or anything...
Yeah. Guh. I have a severe problem with thinking.
