Yes, I have a Gwen Stefani song stuck in my head. It has special significance to me though. Because once, long ago, someone linked a critical analysis of this song, which was very funny. Something about Gwen's spiraling down into insanity at this line of the song. She ain't no hollaback girl. So yeah. I kind of like the song now. It makes me laugh.

I can't remember if I posed a thank-you-for-coming notice about my party? Faaar too lazy to check my journal. So yes, thanks very much to everyone who was able to come, I had a great time. :)

Wow, JB-hi fi's reeeeeally slow on the phones today. Really slow. Quite annoying. But whatever.

So, my ipod is broken. I can't even cheat the system and print a new receipt to pretend mine was still under warranty because we haven't sold any in the past year. (of my model, a 30GB iPod Video.) So, I have to get a new one!  Poo.
Should I get:

- 80 GB Classic
- 130 GB Classic
- Touch? I don't really want to pay for a touch actually so whatever....

The 80GB classic is I think the same price that I originally paid for my 30GB. So it would be okay. Are 130s worth going for... They're a lot more expensive and I guess 160GB is a tad excessive.
And then, should I get it from the apple website (5% discount)... Well I suppose the answer to that is yes, since I can't do any better at work and we don't have any in stock.

I really like my iPod touch, but I wish it had more storage (but a 32GB one would be fine), but yeah, not cheap.

Yeah.. I mean.. I would like one, but I can't really justify the cost. Particuarly when I can get more than double the storage on a classic for roughly the same price. :S

They're essentially the same as the iPhone, but without the phone, right? As in they still have wi-fi access and stuff?

I love my touch but the internet capability is nowhere near as good as I'd hoped it would be (mainly because wi-fi is much less available here than I first though, and when it is available it's not too good) for the price you'd probably be better off with a classic, but I would wait until the super-secret-mac-event being held on Tuesday, new products might be announced including an updated Nano or a sillicon bodied iPod (those are just two of the rumours I've read)

or you could get an iPhone. Grrrr cursed Softbank for not getting reception here. Cursed Docomo for not carrying the iPod.

gah- it's the iPhone that Docomo isn't carrying. When the head of Docomo was asked about whether he'd consider carrying the iPhone around the time of it's release, he shrugged and said 'mmm, it's kind of heavy'

my phone is tiny but useless, the camera has like no megapixels at all, it doesn't have TV, has no predictive text in English and the internet is super expensive, ironically because I don't have the premium service.

The e-mail's pretty good though. I like my phone actually.
