Oh no. At least mine wasn't in a lecture. What did they say he was? My MISINFORMED classmate thought he was a man. (But how could he be a man, when he created the first one out of clay? And took pity on men? How?)
I don't think you can take pity on something that you are a part of. Or at least, it wouldn't be the correct wording.
The lecturer kept saying he was a god. Also he went into how the Greeks never paid attention to how man was made, though ours was apparently made of iron (I can explain all I learned later) and is crap, and how they were more concerned how the gods were created and there isn't really any mention of Prometheus creating man (though they did mention how women doomed us all).
It doesn't matter anyway, I don't do the unit, my friend does.
