ithikaBirthday parties (or organising them) is interesting. It's simultaneously fun and concerning. Fun, obviously, because parties are fun, and concerning because in the end, I predict I will forget at least one key item. Oh well!
I wanted some opinions and things though, so if anyone could offer their opinions it would be greatly appreciated. :)

Ok, so I'm, in theory, going to have about 100 guests. Probably slightly less, but this is what Gary (Lord of the Tav) said is best for them. (the Tav people.)
Presently, this is my plan:
- 4 Nandos Fiestas (one of each basting - lemon & herb, mild, hot, extra hot.)*
- Various types of salad. I'm not much of a fan of salad so they're going to be simple, home- made affairs. Maybe celery sticks with peanut butter. Mmmm.
- Fairy bread
- Chips & things (Smiths Chips, not hot chips)
- 10 Pizzas.
This is the part where I need help. I'm going to get family sized pizzas. Is 10 too many or too few? And, what are the best toppings? I will be getting Vegetarian, definately, because it's the best tasting one. What else is good/would you guys prefer?
* a Fiesta is a whole chicken with a large chips.
I think this is a lot of food, and probably sufficient. However I haven't ever held such a big party before, so I actually have no idea. It caters for all of the food-requirements which I'm aware of, except maybe extreme Veganism.
Aaand musics. Has anyone who's had an event at the Tav before anything to say about whether it's easier to use my laptop or my ipod for music? I would have preferred to use my ipod but it appears to have kicked the bucket. On the other hand, taking my laptop to a party with drinking doesn't seem to be the greatest idea ever, when I think about it.
It's a 30GB iPod Video (er, 4th Gen?) and it fails to complete syncing with my computer. I've tried restoring to factory settings, and I've also tried updating the software. The itunes software on my computer is also up to date, as far as I know. This is really annoying, because I don't want to get a new one. I love my ipod. :(
Black Hawk Down is so great. I had forgotten. Even if whenever Eric Banna comes on I can't stop hearing "Bananana na na ba-na na na na, Bananana na na make those bodies sing!"
It's so cold in Bunbury. I think it should be summer all the time. Except when I want it to be winter. Maybe I should just be given power over the seasons. I think that would be best for everyone.
