Folio Adventures
Episode Six [dot] one : The Phantom Menace
Actually, there is a menace to my progress in Folio. And it is a Phantom. A book, actually. A book called Phantom. Get it? It's a menace because I want to finish it. Or read it all the time. Either one.
I'm updating to let everyone know that I have overcome a significant hurdle in using Google Sketch Up. I can now import drawings from CAD without SketchUp changing the drawing into feet and inches, in millimetres. I can't explain exactly what was happening, but rest assured, it resulted in things being useless for my purposes.
Now it looks like this:

According to my timetable:
I will be finished by Wednesday afternoon. I think this is a little bit optimistic, but at least I know I have a lot of spare time if anything goes wrong. And if nothing does, I will be able to add all kinds of cool, bonus stuff. Like an awesome 3D render thing. Or something. I don't know.
I might try to finish the plans tonight, then go to sleep. I've done quite a few things today, but I made the timetable tonight... you see. So it all makes sense. Yes.
Those two "model may be required" pages could result in disaster, though.
