Okay, so. The reason for that rather ominous last post was I got my feedback for folio, and to put it bluntly it is fucking shit. Basically, the man didn't have anything good to say about anything I did, so I think I have been failed, and unfairly, because I thought I did pretty well. So I'm planning to appeal it, but I think I have to wait till I get an actual mark-of-numbers to do that. So yeah.
Thankyou very much to peoples for comments and hugs and stuff. I haven't replied to them because I thought saying "thanks" a million times would be.. something something. I probably still will reply to them but not today. So yeah I'm kind of sad at the moment, but I can't do anything about it right now so I'm trying not to think about it.
(But I am)

Um. I got a corset yesterd.. on monday. It's pretty sweet. I might put some photos in the internet sometime.
Right now I think I might kill some mobs for a little while then draw some kind of terrifying monster.

*hugs* That really really really sucks!! You should definitely appeal.

It sucks that things like Art are a bit subjective, but you seem to have put so much work into your folio, so you should certainly try to get the marks you deserve.

Thankyou for hugs and MOAR hugs!
*hugs*

And thanks for the support also. :)

I agree.. the marking system is pretty dodgy, because technically there is no "right" or "wrong" answer beyond the building working. My building works, so I think at the very least I should pass. What sucks more though is that if I decide to do a Post Modernist building because I heart Post Modernist Buildings, but my tutor despises Post Modernism, I would probably do poorly no matter how awesome my work was. Hurrrg. :(

Also we should catch up!

:\ that sucks balls. It's so hard to mark stuff like that when it's so subjective. I think if you appeal, and you get to talk about your work with even half the passion and enthusiasm that you write about it in your lj, they will not help but get totally psyched on your work. I was reading a thing yesterday about designers going through the interview process, and they said the most impressive thing was when someone came in and displayed their work with pride and spoke about it with great energy and ... more passion. So I guess that could apply to any facet of design and even to an appeal process.

Ummm I hope that made sense. I need coffee o_0.

Heh, thanks! :D
It made sense. And I agree... I suppose half of what we need to learn in uni is how to sell our ideas to other people, 'and all that. That being the case it's a bit annoying we have to rely on our main tutor to present our work for the final marking session. *rolls around on the floor* especially when your main tutor turns out to be a jerk.
