I think I might have to change my journal to friends-only. Not because of any pretensiousness or delusions of celebrity, but because work "mates" were talking about facebook the other day, and my facebook links my journal, and I' don't want to have to avoid saying things that I think about that whole business (or about my plans for the future) for fear of incriminating myself. So FL-ers who've gone F-O, how long does it take, and how much of a pain is it?

Also I didn't know about this magical power of paid accounts. They didn't have that feature when I had dollars! Oo! :D

They just recently changed it so people with paid accounts can make mass changes to their journal security.

What about if you had one entry locked at a higher security? Would it be downsized too?

You can set it so only public entries go to FO, or vice versa. You can also change all of them to go private all at once. The only thing that you can't do is change them too certain groups using the mass security tool.

You can also specify dates to do this with.

It's easier to change everything to FO and go back and changed a few entries back to their original level, than it is to go back and change all your entries to FO.
