:(

Well, I formatted Idril, but now I've found out that I could have done it the Packard Bell way and not lost all my cool Packard Bell software and keyboard special buttan functions. I found this out while looking for helps on reinstalling (the disc that came with the computer doesn't open anymore because clearly God hates me.)
So now I'm sad. It's the Irony Gods. I was all proud and pleased and happy for fixing my problem and now I have lost my favourite functions of my computer. :( Favourite non-essential functions, yes, but favourite functions none the less.

Helps? *big sad puppehllama eyes* I'm going to call Packard Bell tomorrow and cry at them anyway, and find out if my computer is still under warranty (Haha sure). But yesss.

*mopes*

I tried the directions on the site - press F11 when in the startup mode or something, but nothing happened. I also tried this "MaxBLast" disc thing but I think it's more for creating partitions or installing new harddrives. :/ If you have any suggestions? :)

the pc should have come with a restore disc. you should just be able to boot from that and run the restore... If you cant do that, I am unable to offer much more help without actually being there
