The Great and Majestic Necropolis of the Millions of Years of the Pharaoh
(The Valley of the Kings)
You know what's funny?
It seems that no matter how enthusiastic I am about something for studio, I always manage to fall behind. Actually, it's probably because I was way over enthusiastic about the essay, so I spent pretty much a solid week on something that I could have done in... like a day. I suppose that's just the way the cookie crumbles, oh well. It'd be better if I had infinite time, or magic "transfer idea to page in beautifully rendered and presented plans and sections" (if I could do that I wouldn't even complain about how much stuff from Jackson's costs.) Oh, and "automatically determine and cut the exact shapes to make the model I am thinking of, then bring me some glue" (because I like gluing models together, just not cutting them out/figuring out the pieces)
By the way, my studio idea is a giant glass sequin suspended on a pillar of glass with a glass elevator. Apparantly, if I use *enough* glass, according to some architect guy, it will be strong enough. I'm sure this would make Engineering types scoff/cringe/shake with rage and snarl "architects" under their fiery breath, but yeah, how am I to know? It's not actually a sequin, it's a house, but that's the idea.
I must go!

(I'm working on a more awesome vector version of this, but since I've been good and worked on assignments instead it's not going to be finished in time for the grand final.)

the dockers lost in the afl so i decided i'd not care about the grand final (which is good, if i cared i'd be disappointed either way, in the end it was just a good game WHICH I MISSED ALL EXCEPT THE THIRD QUARTER)
south fremantle lost in the WAFL (by ten goals in the last quarter, and they were winning when Ihad to leave at half time)
and melbourne storm lost in the NRL. and i still haven't watched an NRL game in my life. because rugby leauge is STUPID!
seriously but anyway, i should just support the perth glory to cap off a full quinella of disappointments. although the glory still have time to turn around their season

The Dockers did well though! Maybe next year? Sydney is lame :(
(It was a good game though, did you not see the fourth quarter too?)
Oh noes :(
NRL yeah.. Rugby league is silly isn't it? Hehe.
Ooh, quinella.
Haven't they been doing well or something? *doesn't pay that much attention to "footballs" that arent' AFL*

the dockers are doing well, but i may have to renounce my membership because i'll spend most of next year in other countries (hopefully, although i have said that before and had it fall through) and i missed a lot of games htis year because of work. although working in subiaco makes getting to the games a lot easier
and the melbourne storm have been doing well, despite no-one in victoria caring about rugby, and only being able to get about eight thousand to most of their home games (which is about the average turnout for a collingwood training session)
i missed the last quarter because i had to get back to work. and all the other stuff were doing their work in front of the tv. if onyl i could've served customers in front fo the tv....

It really depends on how *thick* the glass is, and if it's steel reinforced glass or not... Just don't go, like, having huge parties where people are likely to throw chairs or wrestle or something.
