Not only am I now some kind of crazy Naga-drawing fiend, I also think I can get a better job than my current crappy one. Seriously, this last week has been the worst ever in terms of work.
I just got a call from the Co-Op Bookshop - the job I most want out of the ones I've applied for - and I'm going to get an interview next friday!
See, if I worked at the Co-Op, I wouldn't have to work weekends, which is, as you might have guessed by now, key. I'd also be able to go to work in between classes, which would mean less unisfa-time but money, which is becoming increasingly useful these days. I actually really want the job. I think I need a change of scene - lately work has just been getting worse and worse. I don't get to work with my favourite work-buddy (Sherry), all my other favourite staffies are long gone (Matt, Erin, Richard, Kat), and I'm constantly having to work with the imbecilic owner-man (John), and have way too much responsibility for way too little pay. Plus, the goddamn store isn't safe. We keep getting petty thefts happening (like idiots stealing from the Leukaemia Foundation box (stealing from kids with cancer!! It doesn't get any lower), theives taunting the staff, these people knowing that two staff close the store at 10pm at night, and often these two people are only girls. So, basically, I want out.
Only trouble is, I won't leave without another job. Oh, well.
In other news, my driving instructor said he couldn't think of a single reason I wouldn't pass my test on the 6th. Also that I didn't need more lessons. I booked two anyway. And I get his car (Mitsubishi Mirage) which is awesome, because it's not crap.
It's a Gavin-day today! *dances*

Date: 2006-04-30 03:05 pm (UTC)Was just wondering how if you fatted into my thinking that 'bad things are happening to everyone' and if everything was cool.
Tis also nice to see you're still alive.
I went through and archived almost all of my emails in my gmail inbox and this was one towards the start (before my last archiving binge) and just wondered how you were. Random post, yeah :)

Date: 2006-04-30 03:13 pm (UTC)Yeah, I read your post, and I was about to comment actually, but I will here instead. I myself am fine and good, but I'm concerned with everyone else. But yeah, Lots of people seem to be going through bad times at the moment. It saddens me. Although I have been a very angry person of late, only towards my family, but still.
Thankyou, the same to you.
Ah, I seee, very well. Yay, archiving.
And huzzah for random posts ^_^
