So, Rob has been fixing fixing fixing, and we currently have awesome tiny deflection on the X and Y axes, and a MIGHTY 30cm deflection on the z axis... (Earlier today it was OVER NINE THOUSAND, over 10, 000 in fact. Actually, it was 300 metres of deflection on the z axis. Our building is only 9m tall.)

In the following section we will discuss and analyse the product and material decisions we have reached for use in our structure. We have provided, when possible, all information relating to the size and weight of each element. In most cases, we will also discuss the structural, economic, functional and aesthetic reasons behind selecting that particular product.

The joints and restraints we applied in our model were chosen as a response to structural problems. Our final model features both rigid and pin joints, and different weights of diagonal bracing.
