Yes, yes, I have a guilty confession!
I watched Dungeons & Dragons II: The Elemental Might after work last night... that's why I wasn't online... Hey! Stop looking at me like that! I didn't pay anything for it, and it had dragons!
The verdict : I didn't find it as tasteless and awful as the first Dungeons and Dragonsdisappointment movie, and actually had a bit more to do with the game than the first (I think), because the plot was kind of like a campaign. Plus - dragons! Proper-looking White and Black Dragon. 'sept it was a really cheap film, so the CGI was really bad. Plus the black dragon was all rotting, and he was a dragon-god (I think he was proper too... Falazir or something, the Night Dragon, I think I've heard of him before) and that looked really bad.. you couldn't really look at it and see dragon, which was a little disappointing. The introduction, though, had some really cool animation/live action stuff going on. So yeah, not worth paying for, but I didn't hate it. It was actually kind of cute. In a B-grade sort of way.
Oh! And the mage's acting is really lame, and her spell-casting voice is totally cringe worthy. At least the she-elf (because there's always a she-elf) put some accent and emotion into it (though she, too, irritated me.)
So that was... interesting.
Have you noticed that lately I've mentioned hating people a lot more frequently? Yeah. I'm going to repeat that again today. Work brings out the worst in me. Oh yes.
