Yeah. And, I have news. Happy news.
I got Watson Arts leader for next year!!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*throws confetti*
And [livejournal.com profile] lone_one got Docherty Learning, and Aunt Pol got Shine Learning. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!
*throws more confetti*

*looks around*
Yeah, so that was good. Very good, very pleasing.

But Michelle left yesterday, (Writing), t'was vay sad.
[livejournal.com profile] lone_one, you forgotted to give me yer card!! But it's ok, if you bring it to [livejournal.com profile] armygeek's party, I can give it to Michelle on Tues. Yes. So, if you want to, yeah.
(Squee for leadershipment)

And Daniel was on Stargate last night!! DANIEL! YAY!
Ok, so he's not back, but he was there, and he was just like he always was and it made me cry. *embarrassed grin*
And... aaw.... I miss him... he... well, he wasn't my fave character, all of SG:1 are my fave characters, but now he's gone he's my favourite... Aaw, he was back! And.. he was so clever and cryptic like, helping... Tealk. Teal'k. (Beh.)
*wibbles* I miss Daniel!
*sobs brokenly*
But yeah. I don't hate Joannus, though, I like him, he's just... not Daniel. Poor Joannus, I have to not think of him as Daniel's replacement, though that is very much what he is. Poor Joannus, he's a smart cookie, though. Yeah.

What else was I going to say? Oh yeah, Holidays rock. And I can't get in to any of my fave Pirates sites!
AAh!!

Need more coke.

Wow! There's a movie with Viggo Mortensen (ie. Aragorn) in it on Ch 9 atm, it's called Fatal Attractions and... it's from 1987, and I feel really young and young right now, it's kinda depressing and offputting.
Heehe!
*skips off to watch some*
*skips back*
Arg! You can't make me choose!
*shakes fist at little spirit of Fandom*
You know what's kinda funny? My two favourite actors are both teetering on the line that is middle age. slightly. *thinks* Actually, I think Johnny Depp is quite a bit younger than my Dad, like... I don't know. A long time. But Viggo Mortensen... Aragorn... is only slightly younger (well, Aragorn is quite a bit older to be perfectly honest) and Johnny Depp is only slightly younger than Viggo. I understand what I mean.
And that might not be entirely accurate. Actually, I'm sure it's wildly inacurate, but, oh well.
Anywhoo, my point is.. you can't make me choose who's my favourite, and you never will, no matter how long you do that sad eye thing for, it's not going to happen, you can't make me.
Viggo Mortensen is in very good movies, I should be watching this.
He always (aside from Aragorn, who, contrary to popular belif, is his real name) plays very arty kinda characters, interesting.
Tourmented, arty guys. (Well, obviously guys, we have female actors to play non-guys now, to all you Shakespearian-and-before time type people... online... reading my journal... yeah.)

Waiiit. I've seen this before.
Yeah. I have.
Oh, damn, that means he dies.
I don't want him to die, goddamnit.
*Goes out to protest, with a big "Save Viggo's Character" sign*
*comes back inside coz it's cold*

But yeah, that's my rant. Must see Nightmare Before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands (again). That is, see NBC for the first time and ES for the second, though it may as well be the first.
Actually, I feel a big gathering where everyone watches Viggo Mortensen and Johnny Depp movies for a sleepover coming on.
Of course, it would involve sugar, and of course, it would end up being a 99% teenie affair, but hey, it's cool.
But, it would be a not-LOTR-for-movies-w/Viggo Mortensen in it thing, because I can visualise all of both movies in my sleep, backwards now. Not that I'm complaining, it's just that there's not much point in renting them out when I own... ah.
I wouldn't be renting them out anyway, would I?
Uhm... Oh yeah.
I might ask about that idea when my mum wakes up. I'll keep you posted on that thought.
Yeah.
Oh, and this movie watching thing would also involve, invariably, The Last Unicorn and The Flight Of The Dragon, because I can, and too few of you have seen the second of those two listed, and I'm interested to see how many people are brought to tears by it/them. Actually, yeah, both of them are sad ending... aaw.
Yeah, this is going to have to happen.
Uh-huh.
Even if it's just me and my dog, because Bonnie loves watching movies.

*cries*
I don't want Viggo's character to die!!!

---
Whoo!

Are you up for a sequel?

Yeah, I would love – the amount of fun that I had on this film was criminal, really. There were moments where the director and I would sort of look at each other and just go, β€˜Can you actually believe that we get to do this and we're getting paid for this?’ Yeah, if there was a sequel – in a perfect world, it's Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio writing it, it's Gore Verbinski directing it, I'd be there in a second.

Yeah! As far as I'm concerned, this is proof, as solid as concrete, and unshakeable. Savvy?

Viggo's character and that chick are l-o-v-e-r-s
ooh, scandalous!
*laughs hysterically for far too long*
[It's official. I have had too much coke]

let us all ramble at Lisa about movie. )

that quiz thing )

And the verdict= 'Ghan should never be allowed near a bottle of room temperature Cherry coke, combined with the internet and a Viggo Mortensen movie from 16 years ago, ever again.

actually, the movie is "A Perfect Murder", and it's from 1998.
Whoo! I don't have to feel infantile anymore!
Huzzah!

A businessman hires his wife's lover to kill her. A stylish and gripping remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M for Murder

And I have seen it before.
And no, you will not get a sensible thought from me today.

I'm feeling kinda lonely here. I just realised that I've updated a disgusting ammount of times tonight, and to all those of you who'se friends lists I've filled with my inane ramblings, I appologise. Every now and then, you see, I feel that I need to say... well, rather alot, about rather alot of nothing.
Tonight has been one of those nights.
I've just been gripped by one of those... "Wow, that acheived a whole lot of nothing" moments, and so now I think I sense a half decent update happening.
I spent alota time thinking today, which is what I often do when I'm not having to talk to/at anyone or be talked to/at by anyone. I walked Bonnie thismorning, took her to the park. She's so cute - is completely sure of her ability to stay in control of her current situation, regardless of the fact that she is, in fact, under my control. She also thinks she's much bigger than she is, but I suppose all dogs think that.
I also spent a great deal of the day on the gamecube, which was good, and theraputic, in a gaming sorta way. Played SSBM, which is lots of fun. Lots of fun. I'm afraid I'm loosing my touch, though. Must practise more, for my own state of mind.
Also played Zelda.. the Wind Waker, that is. I love that game so much. Spent alot of time sailing around looking for Triforce shards and Triforce charts, actually, in the other order, and after 3 hours... I found one Triforce shard, and 3 maps, and I almost died, almost got killed by six of those big knight things. Ack.
Goddamn, my mouse has died. I hate it when that happens, it's such a pain in the arse.
I wanna go see POTC again.
I also got Netto's present. Aha. I think it's cool. I hope Netto likes it, coz, you know, it sucks when people don't like their present. But it's not their fault, o' course. Yeah.

Hm. I did have something else to say, but the overwhelming not-workingness of my mouse is bugging me too much for me to remember what it was. Oh well. Mustn't have been that important.
