Well! I think I will be bringing to you the first real update in days, from me.
OH NO! Now I'm CRAZY!
[It's all Gavin's fault, the crazy, I mean]

I have seen two movies this week!
Harken Unto My Magnificent Reviews!!
Spoilers. Duh.

Was awesome. The best bits involved The Fluffy White Kitten. The Witch was reeally awesome too. And evil French men! Hehe! And a wolf-man. :D This movie made me happy. Okay, so not really any spoilers. But go see it. Go see it now!

Easily the best HP movie so far. Easily. The bits cut were acceptable this time, that is, no key plot points were left out. 'Sept for, perhaps, priori incantatum with the Dark Mark, because Dumbledore doesn't explain the spell that he mentions when Harry tells him what happened with his and Voldie's wands.
As [livejournal.com profile] im_the_end said, if you change the word "wand" to "wang", it's a very funny movie. But I didn't do that. :P
I wish there had been more of the Quidditch World Cup. What there was was totally awesome. Especially that Krum banner. Mad.
The Durmstrang enterance was awesome mad cool. No really. Beauxbatons not so cool. Maybe if I had a Y chromosome I would have liked it more.
Cedric Diggory mightn't have looked like I imiagined him, but he was good-looking. Krum wasn't right either, and neither was Fleur. Not too far off the mark, but not quite right.
Maddame Maxime wasn't how I imagined her. Oh well.
Hermione's dress was meant to be blue! UGH!
I didn't like Moody's eye. I didn't imagine it like that... But again... oh well.
Not enough Sirius!! GRR! (Because Sirius is my favourite character, and we're running out of time to have him in movies, you know. Poor Padfoot.
Gred and Forge were awesome.
Cedric's death was just right. If I can say that without being too horrible.
The Prefect's bathroom wasn't how I imagined it... Ah welllllll.
Oh, and I didn't like the eggy. It was better when it was just a plain gold egg with a seam in the middle. Yep. That were how I imagined it.
Delighted me to no end that movie was rated M.
Dissapointed in lack of Sphinx and Blast-Ended Skrewts.

The UCS stuff was really nice too. Good job, peoples.
Also, sorry I left so abruptly. My mum wanted to go home straight avay.

In other news...
OMG NARNIA.

Adventure World for the first time evar tomorrow! YAYs!! Am excited.

Um. I do believe I have nothing else to say.

I thought it to be the best of the movies. My sister however has complained that they did not death-eater Grout Junior, or whoever he is called, because she says that his death is vital to the later plotline because they killed him and thus do not have any evidence to use in the fifth book.

*nods* I agree

Crouch ;D Actually, I'd forgotten about that and yeah, it is pretty important. Heh.

I agree. I thought it was good, although some of the casting was a little off.
Cedric was pretty much like I'd imagined him...veery dishy!
Cho could've been a little prettier.
Madame Maxime was OK. Perhaps her hair should've been different, but that character had the potential to be really really badly done and I think thay did a good job.
Krum could've been a bit more buff and, I agree, more of the Quidditch World Cup would've been good. Maybe they'll stick it on the DVD in deleted scenes, although they probably won't have bothered shooting it.
I thought Fleur was supposed to have really long silvery hair. Her's was shoulderlength and blonde. But I thought she acted Fleur very well, so I forgive her looks.
Hermione is just badly cast full stop. She's one of my favourite characters in the books, but I don't like her in the movies at all. She's too wispy and emotional.
Still, they left in the bouncing ferret, so I forgive what they cut!

Yay! Not half bad at all is my verdict.

How could Krum be more buff?

Also, I have a HP fanatic (has written articles on Mugglenet) friend who has told me that the movie uncut is 6 hours long, so it is very likely that they have the world cup in it.

Yes... Cho wasn't how I imagined her, really. Ohh well.

Yes, she did act Fleur very well *nods*. I wish they'd left in the Veela part... And made Ron's infatuation a little more obvious. Heh.

Yees, I agree with your point about Hermione *nods*

Definitely best of the movies, I really enjoyed it.

My take is that they shouldn't be movies, but created as full-length DVDs to be shown at home and then the 3-4hr movies cut down to the 2.5hr one shown in the Cinema. It's never going to happen, but I wish it did.

Where?

Are there Drow involved? It is strange that the most notably matriarchal race is an evil one.

"Also, sorry I left so abruptly. My mum wanted to go home straight avay. "

Meghan's life is characterised by being totally subservient to the wishes of her mother. Which is pretty funny.

And no, no Drow.

Here to worship your Slytherin house description at [livejournal.com profile] lumos_sorting some more. Unfortunately I think you'll end up as a straight Ravenclaw apart from my vote with what you wrote, so it was a surprise to see you ended up as a Gryffindor in Hogwartsishome and proves my suspicion about your motivations and actual behaviour is correct. Good luck, anyway, hope you have fun. Moody's eye was discussed there at some stage ages ago and we just had a huge GoF thread, with an additional one for the latecomers from Australia coming up. ;)

You got my Nemo icon of approval in Lumos, so I'll go with my David "Doctor Crouch" Tennant icon of approval on this side. Keep up the good work. Everybody else, please join up, too, we're usually not as stalkerish as this great fun. Tell them I said hi. ;)

Why, thankyou most kindly! :D I'm glad you liked the Iago comparison... (Iago is awesome, no?)
Hm, yes, I was rather surprised with a Gryffindor verdict at Hogwartsishome too, but there you are.
Ooh. I'll have to look out for that thread :D

*beams* Thanks again! I'm rather looking forward to participating in [livejournal.com profile] lumos_sorting, as I'm one with the HP-fever once more :)

Well, the Ravenclaws have yet to vote for the most part but I'm positively surprised by others dragging or pushing you to Slytherin, too. Hope you enjoy the place whatever happens. As to fever, it's good for you. ;)

^_^ Actually, I'd be equally happy with either house, although I do find Slytherin more interesting. (As I suppose my application might suggest XD)

Hehe, good good :D

I have to agree with most of those points. Seems those are most of the things I noticed too... Wanted to see more of Snuffles... and I wanted to see Pig! Sure, he's unnecessary, but I still wanted to see the tiny owl... ah well. Nice entry title, by the way. :D
