Hokay. So y'all know the esasy [of awesome] I was talking about before? Well, I'm intending tomorrow to go down to the Reid library and primary-source it up [or HSS-reserve it up, whichever you find most amusing], so, does anyone think it would be incredibly foolhardy to leave the essay I write today 200-500 words short of the word count so that I can fit in quotes and stuff about quotes?
Or do you all think it'd be wiser to write the whoole thing, then go back and footnote ideas and cut/paste stuff in? Personally I'm more fond of the first option, but as I am fresher I will humbly ask for guidance.

Perseus is teh bomb.

That is all.

Well, the sensible thing would be to have found and used your sources BEFORE you write the essay. If you didn't use your sources before, how did you get your ideas?

I would recommend that you quote as you write it, but that's just me. Otherwise I would suggest not leaving space. Why? Well because you can add your quotes in, and then cut down the essay. Distill it down as it were. Then you are left with only the good bits. Also I fear that if you have not already gone through the sources, you may be in for aq surprise ie. the sources may not agree with what you thought was right.

What I tend to do is write an essay, and when I can't be bothered making a decent argument, I leave a gap, finish the essay, and go off and find sources that support my points, and stick them into the gaps.

Ah! And (I didn't reply to your sms because of lack of credit) what was that about "Jason and the Argonauts"? I probably have the original sheet, somewhere, but that somewhere is probably the shed. Under lots of other stuff.
