Getz VS Echo - who will win??

[I've realised it's not totally ridiculous to want a new car for my first car. So here are the main contenders... da da da...]

Hm. 2nd hand ones are about the same price - circa. $12000. However, the Getz [which is prettyer] is cheaper brand-new, I think.

However, ummyep also told me not to buy from that place :D

Other than that, nothing interesting really happened today. I went with my mum to take my grandma to Murdoch to have something done to her eye, to do with Catarachts [sp?] hm. That took ages. But she's fairly happy, so it's all good. Then it was too late to go driving. Waaaah!

Wednesday, I went driving with demonmole's Dad [the Driving instructor *nods*], and was good. Drove at 80, and also in the rain [though not at the same time. Hehe.] And that was good.
Afterwards, safely trained-and-bussed it [but not before briefly seeing free_nuide at the trainstation] to Gavin's, where we decided to make Nando's-delicious-chicken ourselves rather than buying it. We also made wedges. And corn. Mmm, corn. Wedges were goood. Chicken was good, though marrinating would make it better.
Wedges were potaahto, onion salt, garlic salt, salt, paprika, onion and grilled. Yummy. I reccomend trying it out if you feel like it. Yesss.

Personally, I find Hyundais very disconcerting to drive - they sound like overpowered lawnmowers.

You could look for a really nice secondhand car, because that way, if you scratch it or bump into something (not that I don't have faith in you, hehe) you wouldn't be heartbroken, because it wouldn't be so shineee.

There are some nice secondhand cars around, like Corrin's. His car is nice and useful. Fits heaps in.

Also, 4 (side) doors makes it easier to use than 2 (side) doors. Just easier to pack large things (like furniture, guitars, camping gear) in the back with 4 doors. Not to mention (very old and very young) people. Old people don't like climbing over the front seat to get into a car.

Hmm, true, very true, but if it came to furniture, I could borrow my Dad's ute/family's 4WD, and as for the "people" thing, I'm not sure it'd be a good idea for me to be trafficing about people in my car [as people as a general rule are very loud]... although, the only nice-secondhand-cars-within-the-happy-bank-range are 4 (side) door, so ya never know. Hehe. :D
