Yes, well, today I bought Neverwinter Nights: Gold edition.
Which means two things.
I have both NWN and SoU, but, inversely, I have absolutely no money, at all.
In fact, I owe my mum $30. But that's cool, because I have NWN.
Of course, I can't play it, which presents a whole new carnival of pain. but, I can read the manual. long time, you love manual long time.

But in other news, today was my mum's birthday, so I insisted on doing stuff that she tried to insist on doing, like the dishes. HAHAH. She liked her presents, and all is well.

Was your favorite? ROTK

Was the happiest? I thought ROTK was... in an interesting way. Everything was good at the end of ROTK. Sauron was defeated, the Hobbits returned to the shire, Aragorn was made king of Gondor and Arnor, and all the deep shadows were lifted from the world.

Was the saddest? ROTK, naturally :D

Was the funniest? Eh, probably... uh... well, the scene in TTT with "Stupid Fat hobbit" made me laugh the most. but I don't really think of them as funny movies

Was the longest (feeling)?
ROTK felt the longest [because it was :P], but not in a bad way, in a well-paced, fullfilling way.

Had the best soundtrack?
Definately ROTK, followed by TTT. That's not to say I don't love the FOTR one, I just love the Rohan theme, and alll of the music in ROTK.

t scene in each movie...

Was your favorite?
FOTR: Prancing Pony, because of Aragorn. Strider. Exactly how I imagined him, and I kid you not. Or Rivendell, because it's the most beautiful place in all the land. or the Mirror of Galadriel.

TTT: The scene where Legolas tells... Gamling I think, basically "This bow was given to me by the Lady Galadriel. It is worth more than Edoras. it's worth more than all of Rohan. If you touch it, I will kill you, and raise this city to the ground". Perhaps not in those words. Unfortunately it was cut from the movies *pouts*
Ooh, and the first Scene with Eomer, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. Because I loved it in the books, and it was grand in the movie.
Um, um.... oh, there are so many

ROTK: The battle of the Pelennor Fields. Best scene, ever, bar none.
or the unleashing of the Witch King of Angmar. Ohmigod, that was the coolest thing ever.

Gave you the most chills?

FOTR: The scene with the nice, pretty dawn field, and then the Nazgul steed's head appears, ooh, that was so damn cool.
Or the barrow-downs.

ooooh, or the fight with the Balrog. oh, that was so damn cool.

TTT: Uh... chills. chills, huh. Oh yes, I remember.
Where Smeagol says "I found it, I did. A way through the marshes. Orcs don't use it. Orcs don't know it! They go round, for miles and miles!" I don't know why, but it gave me the shivers. seriously.

ROTK:
Witch King. When he comes out of Minas Morgul, and... oh yes. He's damn cool. Oh yes. You see, I'm really dissapointed in myself, but I'm not scared of Spiders. Which is dissapointing, really.
As for chills, not fear chills, but "oh my god, that's damn cool", the ride of the Rohirrim, and GROND!! ohmygod. "My fandom is a giant, evil battering ram"

Made you cry the most?

FOTR:
"I would have followed you my brother. My captain. My King."
*wibbles*
Oh, and the fall of Gandalf in Moria, the first time I read it, all those years ago.
And one of the many times I've seen the movie, not because I thought he was dead, but because Frodo did.

TTT:
No scenes in the movie actually made me cry, nor the book. Uhm, Haldir. mainly because he *cough*wasn'tthere*cough*
and because.. .all those Elves *cough*thatwereentthere*cough* died, and Elves weren't born to die.

ROTK:
Ooh, I can't choose. Ok. Uhm... Theoden. *wibbles* that was in the book. I didn't cry in the movie at all. Yet. *kicks myself* it's the last one, god-freaking-damn, I'm going to cry if it kills me.
Ooh, and when Sam thinks Frodo's carked it. [HA! that seems so harsh... carked it. to think of *snorts with laughter* oh, that's funny. hillarity, that]
Ooh, when Merry crys as Gandalf and Pip ride off on Shadowfax. That was sad.
Aaaand... no, that's it. maybe for now.

Scared you?

FotR:
Nazgul. But they weren't as scary as they could have been

TTT:
well, once Elves appeared at Helm's Deep, I feared insanely alot for Haldir's life. Rightly.

Rotk:
*cheers for the Witch King of Angmar* more terribly impressive - terribly as in terrible - than scary.
And, even though I knew what it was, the fact that the "mysterious canyon" made Aragorn jumpy scared me. Aragorn jumpy = soul-rendingly terrifying.

Made you smile in an "Aw-that's-so-cute" way?

Fotr:
Pippin. always Pippin.

TTT:
'Gone gone gone! Smeagol is freeee!'
RotK: oh, you know this one. "I might not be able to carry the Ring, but I can carry you", oh, and the look on Aragorn's face when he sees Arwen. Awwwwwwwwwww.

Made you smile in an "I'm-SO-Happy!" way?

Fotr:
The whole damn thing. Fandom.
TTT: See above.
RotK: That would be the whole thing. Hey, waiting a year for something, or 3 years... more... in this case does this to me. But in particular, how much was taken straight from the book.

You laugh the most?

Fotr:
"So, where are we going?"
TTT: Delighted laughter at the inclusion of the competition between Legolas and Gimli
RotK:
Nothing, really. Uh, I can't remember. *insane ammounts of sarcasm* Damn, that means seeing it again...

Had the best musical backup?

FotR: Balrog. Balrog. Balrog. Oh, and the "Whe're still in the shire! what could possibly happen?
TTT:
ooh, I loved the whole Rohan theme. LOVED it. Adored.
RotK:
the lack of music at the last stand of the Gondorians at Osgiliath. Poor Faramir. Ooh, and.. and.. all of it.

Needed to be more drawn out?

FOTR: Uh... I don't know. Oh yes! The fact that **years**, not days or hours, have passed from Gandalf's leaving to Gandalfs return, [trip to Gondor]
TTT: Treebeard. He was far to hasty. Oh yes, hoom-haroom. And Eomer. I like Eomer. He was more of a major character in the books, I'm sure. So he needs to be there more! And Faramir. maybe they could not completely kill him.

Rotk:
There could be more?

Could have been less drawn out?

Fotr:
nothing
TTT:
nothing, I don't tink.
RotK: no fading to black unless you mean it, people

What scene in all of the movies (an overall answer from selections above)...

Was your favorite?
The battle of the Pelennor fields.
Gave you the most chills? The Witch King of Angmar and the Paths of the Dead.
Made you cry the most?
Not sure.. yet
Scared you? Didn't really get scared, in the movies, because I have 1337 prophetic, bookreading skillz. Oh, but in the book, there was a part towards the end where I thought Pippin died. I cried.

Made you smile in an "Aw-that's-so-cute" way?
not sure... Made you smile in an "I'm-SO-Happy!" way? the whole trillogy.
Made you laugh the most?
Not sure
Had the best musical backup?
ROTK. Gondor!!
Needed to be more drawn out? Faramir = Faramir, not evil Faramir
Could have been less drawn out? none

How did your "favorite character" title progress throughout the movies?

Aragorn always has been and always will be my ultimate favourite character, of any story, ever, bar none. Second favourite has always been Legolas... and Eomer, and Faramir.

Who holds title for your overall favorite character?

Aragorn.

Which song on each soundtrack gives you the most vivid image of the movie?

Fotr: Amon Hen
TTT: The King of the Golden Hall or the Riders of Rohan
RotK: Minas Tirith, The White Tree, The Steward of Gondor, Minas Morgul, Ride of the Rohirrim, The Fields of the Pelennor, The Return of the King

song is most definately gollums song. yep yep... moving (for me anyway) so depressing. He didn't do much for me in the movie. Everyone was like.. "aww he's so CUTE" and I basically thought if I saw him smiling I would bash his head in with whatever I could grasp in a hurry. FRICKIN' EVIL! Sheeesh, like Frodo can't SEE that? Anyway, the song though reminded me of one particular part in the TT (book). And that was the most depressing, well not depressing but sad part of the whole tale. Yeah, depressing was everyone leaving and dieing (Arwen, Aragorn, Pippin, Merry!!! Nooooooo!)

But saddest was Gollum and his life.
