On old games, and the incredible reliability of the stupidity of palace guards

A strange topic, you might think.. but, considering how I've been spending my time for the past while, it's appropriate.
Point one: Old games are cool. Zelda I and II being prime examples. I guess because they couldn't show off neato graphics... that's not true though... at the time (86-7) they were like "Wow, cool, look at that, more than 4 px!!"
But yeah, because game teams didn't spend so much time on graphics (again... work with me here) the game puzzles and stuff were so much cooler. *dances* Hehe.

2: Palace guards are *always* stupid. If you dissapear from their line of sight, they go away. If you walk alongside them and pass quickly, you don't exist to them.
Out of sight, out of mind has never, ever been truer than with palace guards.
Oh, and this: if you can't outsmart a palace guard, you're absolutely screwed. Give up now. :p kidding...

3. Dungeons are evil. Zelda is lazy. Why can't she just rescue herself for cryin' out loud!
Ok, ok, so I can't find the basement.. pshh, I'll get it.

W00t, I'm so cool
This game rocks... muahahah
