There's a part in it that talks about why Rimmer fails exams (when he is alive, and trying to become an Officer.). Basically, he starts making a 3-month timetable, 3 months before the exam. This takes him 2 months to complete. He then makes timetables, getting more and more hectic as he eats up more and more of his time by making new time tables.
Eventually he ends up making a 3 day timetable - one month's revision into each day.
Then he overdoses on dog worming tablets.
(It's a story that I never thought I could relate to, back when I was 12 and didn't understand a FEW of the references in the audio reading. Now though, it's quite close to my heart. )
