Mar. 29th, 2009 04:08 pmDoes anyone know whether it's true that the Heb B vaccination that you get when you're an infant lasts for 23 years? Because I had the full course of injections when I was a wheeee bub, and the UWA doctor I went to to see what vaccinations I need for Europe said it would be ok. However, Gavin had the injections much more recently (first year uni), also a full course, and his (non-UWA medical clinic) doctor gave him a booster.
According to the internet, it lasts for 23 years.
I don't distrust the doctor I spoke to, I just want to be sure that I'm covered, whilst also avoiding having to go and find another doctor. Hmm.
Also Tetanis (sp?) wasn't nearly as painful as it was when I was 12. YAY! Maybe I was just a wuss then. It's likely.
Also apparently the Rabies vaccine is really expensive. I don't know why this makes me sad, but it does. :-(
This is crazy and awesome.

At least now you can play with rusty things. I don't even know if that's what Tetanus is linked too. It's what my mum told me when I was little. Eh?
