iTunes why you do this

ithikaSo I'm sick. :( I got sent home from work for not being able to talk and being generally ill!
I'm trying to sync my ipod. I fixed the error -69 that was happening, reinstalled itunes, deleted all duplicates, and un-ticked files that can't be found.
When I sync my ipod, it manages to transfer 1554 songs. However, I have 2145 songs in my library. The ipod is nowhere near full capacity so it can't be that.. why on earth isn't this working? Does anyone have any suggestions?
