ZOH MOH GOHT
Sep. 6th, 2007 08:16 pmTOMORROW!
I was reading a lot of forums last night, and a lot of American Dell customers have been having troubles with delays of their Inspirons. (Up to two months!) I decided that I wouldn't be able to handle this, because aside from anything else I actually do need the computer pretty desperately. It gets hard to do CAD work on a computer that can't handle CAD, you know?
So I phoned up Dell and spoke to this lady about my concerns. I was all "I really need this computer ASAP, is there anything you can do to help me out at all?"
And she was all "Well the thing holding you up is the install CD for Roxio creator (some software, I think it's a burning program), so what I can do is split your order into two pieces, so we'll ship the laptop first, and the CD will be shipped to you as soon as we get them back in stock."
I was like "Awesome, thankyou" and she was like "you're welcome, we'll call you back"
And then I got a call from this guy (I think he may have been David from Dell), who was all "Hi, Meghan? Would you like us to deliver your computer between 8am-12pm tomorrow?"
Me: "....HELLS YES"
So I'm pretty excited now.
But I have to get back to writing my report.
