I don't know. I'm not really a pop sensation sweeping the nation...
But listening to music in the morning on the computer is quite a refreshing thing.
Anyway, today is not only the first day of semester but also the first day of Architecture! Oh, apprehension! It's a good thing Wolfmother is on my side.
Sorry I haven't been updating lately, Livejournal, but at least now you know that I have lots to write about. If only I had time to look at my LJ and see the last thing I wrote. Heheh. Ahh well.

By all accounts, Bunbury is a very nice place, and I wouldn't feel stranded if I lived there. It's not really "country" as such, I think. I mean, there's a (mini) sky-scraper, night clubs, lots of shopping centres and broadband everywhere. Plus (depending which way you go) there's pretty much big city-towns all the way back to Perth, with 10 minute stretches of countryside, sort of. Mandurah, Rockingham, then you're pretty much back in Perth. It has its own public transport system, but I've yet to try it.

In the end, Piffle wasn't finished, but that's okay.

I've been looking at lots of awesome arts on DeviantArt. My latest discovery... well. My favourite discovery of my recent ambling-around-DA discoveries is -patches-, who has an awesome style and craziness.
I've also discovered that there are many people called "Shadow-Wolf" (in many variations), but surprisingly enough, many of them are very, very good.
Chibighibli is also very good. (This is my favourite of hers.)

Actually I'm kind of excited about Architecture.

By the way, when I link DA deviations, they're always in full view. :) Just so you know, if you... have dialup... or something.

Yeah, this list is more for my information in case I somehow lose my favourites rather than anything else, but if you like looking at good art, you should still check them out.

Mythori has awesomeness, and is friends with Silverpoot, possibly my favourite DA artisty.

I never thought I'd be comparing academic bodies by their disorganisation, but, well, there you are

You see, while I actually really enjoyed the studio thingy, and think I could get to like Architecture very much (though it looks like lots of work, but that just means it'll be good for me), they need to get their stuff sorted out!
Here's the thing. The.. oh.. I can't be bothered. Basically, I have a thing from 10am to 5pm, which I was notified about at a thing I was told was completely useless to anyone who has been through a year of uni before (yes, I checked that she knew I was going into first year Architecture from first year arts), on Thursday, which I thought ran from 2-6pm, so now I can't work at all on that day.
Also on Monday I have to be in in the morning at 9am until some time, which makes working difficult too. Although I was already hoping that'd be closed on monday. Does anyone know if it is?
And then they're changing times and classes for 6 weeks, cycling around. WHY?! What's gained from that?
Meh. Anyway, it's booklist time! Yay!
And I liked drawing things in that class. I likes it.

Oh god stationary prices. And where, may I ask, am I going to get time to buy these things I can't get at the uni? HMM? Oh well. I can't deny I've been looking for an excuse to buy some serious art supplies for a long, long time now. :)
